We aren’t able to provide opening dates until our store is fully ready to open, but we will make an announcement over social media and post new stores to the website as soon as we are able to.
If there is a product issue and defects with your item, we will gladly refund your purchase at any META store once it has been verified by one of our Friendly Guides.

Opened cannabis products are final sale. For unopened product, the Provincial seal/excise stamp must NOT be broken.

Exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis and only for certain circumstances.

For rechargeable vapes, please consult the manufacturer for warranty claim assistance.

Please contact your local store for specific questions regarding returns.
Only government issued identification is accepted.

Please ensure to bring your valid form of ID when visiting one of our stores and/or have it ready to show to your delivery driver. If you are visiting from a different province, valid government photo ID from any jurisdiction is accepted. We accept the following forms of ID by province:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Passport
  • OHIP Card
  • Certificate of Indian Status with photo
  • Canadian Permanent Resident Card
  • Valid Firearms Possession and Acquisition License
  • BYID (Bring Your Own ID) Card issued by the LCBO
  • Valid NEXUS Card
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Passport
  • Valid Secure Certificate of Indian Status Card
    Only the modern Secure Certificate of Indian Status can be used as a standalone piece of ID
  • Valid Manitoba Public Insurance Card
If you do not have one of the four pieces of Standalone ID above, you must present two pieces of ID. One piece must have a picture (Primary ID). The other can show far less information (Secondary ID). Please contact your local store with any questions or for further details.

THC level variance is an issue we are working on diligently to correct with the Licensed Producers who provide the products to our stores. To address this issue, we have added steps to our product receiving process to ensure we are providing the most accurate and precise values to our customers.
There is some variation with weight due to possible dehydration between bottling and the actual sale of the product. Health Canada has made it illegal to over-fill. If the product is outside of the accepted variance set out by Health Canada, we recommend getting in touch with the customer care team at the Licensed Producer. You can find their email and telephone number on the back of the outer packaging. If you no longer have the packaging let us know and we can get this info for you.
We recognize there are variances with individual scales and sometimes the scale needs to be calibrated but either way it is still worth looking into!

Online Orders
There are a number of reasons your order could have been cancelled, including unverifiable ID or not picking up your order on time. Please contact the store to discuss re-ordering.
Credit card refunds for online purchases are released typically between 3 - 5 business days.
We offer same day delivery with Pineapple Express so you can enjoy your purchase sooner.
We’re sorry about the inconvenience when attempting to ship your META order to a PO box.

It is mandatory to confirm the recipients age and identification at the time of delivery or to collect a signature for the package. Unfortunately, there is no way for delivery companies to do so with a PO Box.

As a solution, we recommend ordering to an alternate address you frequent often, if this is an option for you.

Please note: Online orders may only be delivered within provinces where it is permitted by government regulations.
